With its emphasis on economic development activities in the thirteen-county region that it represents, TFCP has championed the development of East Texas' natural resources, promoted tourism efforts and supported initiatives to improve transportation throughout the region.

TFC Partnership Hires New President

Lufkin, TX – Charlie Dromgoole, current President of the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, has been hired as President of the Texas Forest Country Partnership. He will begin his new responsibilities on Monday, July 21, 2008.

TFC Partnership Welcomes Panola County

Carthage, TX – The Texas Forest Country Partnership hosted a luncheon today to officially welcome the residents of Panola County into their organization. The luncheon was held at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame and was well attended by numerous public officials, community leaders, business owners and interested citizens.

Panola County is the first county to be added to the Partnership since 1965.
